  • Color of Front Suspension Parts on 63 Lark

I am getting readry to tear apart the front suspension on a 63 Lark and sand blast them. Prior to reassembly I want to paint them. What colors were the individual parts originally. On some cars I have seen them all black and on others I have seen some satin black, some flat black and some painted with a raw metal color. Please advise your input is greatly appreciated.

I've always painted them satin black and have never heard any comments from the judges about it one way or the other, most of the stuff did not even get painted at the factory I've been told.
