Happy New Years!
Spent the day moving 3 skids of Studebaker parts off of the temporary pallets and up on to the shelves.
Cut a couple of those old, used, 2x8's to line the bottom of the one steel shelf so I could lay Stude cylinder heads on them.
Why-oh-why do I have so many cylinder heads???
(asked by my back, elbow, and both feet)
We had pretty heavy rain a while back and I noticed a couple of leaks on the west wall.
Took a tube of caulk and went outside to seal the edges where the water was leaking in.
Will have to wait until the next heavy rain to see if that worked.
Moved enough stuff around to get at the wall to seal up the rafter openings I filled with 2x material.
Since it was warm out, the foam expands more...
I am soooo lame at spraying in Foam-O-Fill.
They must use my pic's at their national sales meetings, to explain a regional spike in sales.
It looks so good right after squirting, but then...it starts growing...
But, it works good. I tried stapling tar paper strips folded over to do the same thing, but that didn't work worth a hoot.
Heading back out there early Sunday morning to really thrash on getting the shop ready to actually do some work...
Couple of projects are heading my way.....
A '41 Willys assembly job, and a certain black 19......
