    I need to paint a block silver. What is everyone that paints there engines sivler using?

    There's probably a better way, but I use the too-shiney aluminum stuff, then a coat of clear. That really dulls the shinyness, and looks OK.

      IF ...its a 1958-61 Stude block you have, Studebaker International has the correct "Silver" engine enamel in their current catalog.

      Item # 800257 at $12.50 per 12 oz. spray can.
