  • Tahoe Contacts/Help

We just moved to the Tahoe area and are looking for someone who can assist with a simple repair and other Studebaker questions. Car is a 1950 Champ. Need advice, reference to local repair shop, or maintenance ASAP. Believe problem(s) to be generator and ignition coil. Appreciate any and all information. Cindy

I suggest that you start by joining the Studebaker Drivers Club, from this site, and the local chapter that covers your area. Local chapter members are probably your best source of referrals, etc.

I live in Houston, Tx and 4 to 5 times a year I visit the Tahoe area and by the end of my visit I am always needing money(funny how this happens), so I will work cheap. Just schedule your car repairs when I'm in town. Good Luck with the local club.(and I don't mean the casino)
