Mine is stuck on the 62 Champ V-8. Which position is it fully open? Clockwise or counter clockwise?

When the Original is installed correctly with the "UP" mark facing up, the top of the "Hat" is UP when closed and FORWARD when open, so that would be Clockwise to open on either the Stude. or Cadillac style.StudeRich
