  • Ross SL steering leak

During 63 gt frame off, a leak in the steering box where the post enters the steering box was noted but only when box was laid down flat. In its normal installed position there is no sign of leak. Based on the manual, my guess is the post cam bearing 1542674 is the culprit. I'm concernerd about opening a steering box. What kind of a job is this, any ideas? Ken

    Don't worry about it.
When you reinstall it on the car, be sure not to turn the car over or it will mess up you seat cover.
