    Southern California winter storm damage

With all the news lately of harsh weather across the US, you shouldn't
forget that Southern California has its share of devastating weather.

Love it! Even though I am in Ventura County, the rain has been relentless. Luckily it stops about every two days to let the sunshine out, so we can warm up and dry out to do it all over again.

Obama will have a press release coming out later today that $100 Billion will be sent along to aid 'victims' of the storm damage. FEMA has been called in to provide temporary housing and water. Arnold will be making a site visit to inspect the damage. More to come. stay tuned to your local news. If necessary seek shelter at the nearest federally approved earthquake resistant building.

on the other hand, in the La Canada foothills as well as the foothills above Pasadena and Monrovia there have been some fairly large mudslides. Homes have been destroyed and families displaced. So it isn't all fun and games in Southern Cal.

This is true ... but I was trying to keep in light-hearted. There is
enough bad news on TV to bask in.
