Car saved from salvage now on the bay........wants 3500.00 for car.

As bad as it is still could do a JDP on it and make a mint.

What kind? An Avanti by any chance judging by '1970'?

I would love to see some one pay 3500.00 and make a penny on it.
In fact I would be surprised if it brings half of that.

It just makes you wonder, how much could a 1970 $50,000.00 Avanti II depreciate by 1990, when it was parked to rot? [?] [V] [xx(] [:0]

Thanks Rockfoot, for helping us figure out what it is, and find it! [^]

I hate to say this: but; that Avanti would make quite a parts car being that it is mostly complete-----------or, snag the body and drop it atop different (rustfree) frame with a clean title. Take it down to DMV and have the inspector issue a reconstruction title.

I don't know that this one could bring much of a profit, even parting it out. The Avanti we parted had many rebuilt parts, such as the entire chassis, engine, trans, rear, brakes, bumpers, and numerous other parts. The parted Avanti was also, already disassembled. This one would need to be taken apart and the parts that are here are all in used/abused condition. We shall see how this one shakes out.

Eye of the beholder, you know. When YOU own it, it's clapped-out junk; when I own it, it's a rare artifact with patina

                          I thought the same thing!

<<Bottom line, you WILL be disappointed with this car, no sugar coating here. BAD SHAPE.>>

If one had the skill and space......the car could be cut up.... the body in specific pieces etc..........I believe one could turn a profit.........but not if one had to pay a good body man to cut up the car.
