I like this ! I am a model car builder/collector . I find it appaling you can build every body configuration of Tri-Five also mades . Or , IMHO , dumped on the unsusepecting Public . Studebakers , not so much . Yet still considering all the Independets , Studebakers have a large interest and variety to choose from in this venue . I make strings . I would like to build the missing links of Larks , Hawks , Presidents . This I made harder to do as I am a Scale Snob .
This is why I am here . My memory isn't very functionable these days . I consider this a Reference Source .
Enjoy this gem . I had to quit driving in 2006 . A neighbor had a New '61 Hawk in Studebaker light Orange . I have to add here , FoMoCo , MoPar , Studs , AMC shared wheel bolt patterns / wheel sizes during the , now I cannot recall the years , Aurghhhh ! Yet , the Brand X guys claim all other makes are ************* and hard to work on , need special hard to find parts , need special tools BTW . Hystical ! Thanx for sharing ...

I had a 61 Hawk coupe just like that one when I was in high school. All the kids kept teasing me and calling it the "Batmobile" so I took the fins off, put sports coupe tailamps on, and repainted it white. The teasing stopped but I am still sorry I did that to that car. I sure wish I had it back, I would make it look just like yours, man that's a beautiful ride!

                                Thanks, Dave.
