  • If Bob Glasscock were still with us . . .

He would remind us that today is the 60th anniversary of the death of Buddy Holly, the pride of Lubbock, Texas. Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper were also passengers on the small plane when it crashed in a field near Clear Lake, Iowa.

May they rest in peace. Thankfully we can still listen to their music.

Ironically, Bob also died in a plane crash while piloting his own airplane. http://forum.studebakerdriversclub.c...-Bob-Glasscock

Thankfully, we can still see and hear his 1950 Champion, which his brother now owns.

Waylon Jennings would have died on that same plane, had he not given his seat to the 'Big Bopper'.
