    1962 Hawk Heater Hose

I have installed new blower motor and 4" heater hose under the right fender and am wondering if there is a wheel well plate that protects the hose and blower from rain, mud and debris thrown up by the right front tire. chet445

No only the Left side has a Cover for the Pedals etc. nothing in either Fender, some years the Fan Motor was undercoated for some protection, if you are using the correct wire and cloth reinforced rubber Duct Hose, and not a Dryer Duct Hose, it will survive just fine.

Correct, it just hangs out there in in the weather and dirt and, surprisingly, survives.

It's not authentic, but I used the aluminum flex pipe, then sprayed with undercoating. It fits, and looks good, and should be a little more durable. The under seat heater works quite a lot better than I had imagined.
