My 74 Avanti is starting to make me smile

I'm close to the end of polishing but the polisher crapped out today so I took the time to shine up the chrome bumpers. They are driver quality but will be just fine on the road.



I was lucky enough to find a set of front bumpers from an AOAI member in Florida a few years ago and also made a friend.

You can see the quality of my old front center section compared to the Florida ones below. I was considering painting to old bumpers body color but I still like the chrome accents in a few places.

I'm looking forward to seeing it finished also. Don't get rid of your old bumpers though. Worst case, they can be re-chromed and ready as spares. Bill
