54th Annual SDC International Meet Photos - Contributors Welcome

I thought it would be fun to provide a thread so those who wish can add their own photos of the meet.

C'mon folks. Those who could not make it to the meet would probably like to see pictures. Here are some more...

Thank you for sharing the photos. I like the background of the showfield with the fir trees and train. That Garford truck is a rare sight. The red 1954 or 55 Stude pickup looks really nice.

The '53 convertible looks amazing! As for the '55 pickup with the Packard V8, does it belong to Jack Vines? I believe he mentioned that he had done such a transplant. It's a shame it wasnt offered as a factory option.

Yes that is Jack Vines truck. You need to make sure you have some time if you ever get a chance to see it in person. I was tempted to ask him if I could borrow it for a few months. He has done a great job of making it a fun easy driver while looking fantastic. Had lunch with him and he is as nice and informative as he is on the forums.

Anyone have any info on that truck from the teens posted here? Looks to be a remarkable survivor.

    Overall view of the field.
We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

    Ayn Rand:
"You can avoid reality, but you cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding reality."

    G. K. Chesterton: This triangle of truisms, of father, mother, and child, cannot be destroyed; it can only destroy those civilizations which disregard it.

    Brent,
That shot with the switch engines in the background was taken at the Le May Marymount location a few miles from the main museum.

It was a Garford. There was info about it on the card, but I did not photograph it.

Jack's Red '55 E-12 3/4 Ton Pickup is not just a Packard V8, it's quite a bit MORE than Dual Quads. For one, it is a Senior Packard 374!

So many great folks, so little time. I'm sure Ohio 2019 will provide a much larger vendors swap meet. Good work for all involved.
