ID:	1721503These are 2-1/4" BF Goodrich Silvertown bias whitewalls from Coker on our 57. The original spare in the trunk is the same size.

Looks like Summit Racing carries classic tires for Coker - so shipping is free. They have them in

      Goodyear ($219), US Royal - 2.5 inch ww ($197), BF Goodrich - 2.5 inch ww ($185), and

      Firestone ($181)

        Mark and 62 Champ.

Can you tell me what size tires I need. Looks like a 2 1/4 inch whitewall is the sidewall size.

You might want to check your operator's guide (owner's manual), the Golden Hawk might have used a 7.10X15.

'57 Hawks had 7.10X15 (Firestone on most).

Only 1957 Golden Hawks came with 7.10X15. V8 Silver Hawks came with 6.70X15 and six cylinder Silver Hawks came with 6.40X15.

Who would have thought buying a set of tires would be so hard! Thanks everyone for the info. Looks like i will go with the 7.10x15 with a whitewall somewhere between 2.25 and 3.00 inches. Probably a bias tire (maybe a radial).

One thing is you might want to consider is usable lifespan. It is recommended, regardless of mileage, radials should be replaced after six years. The general consensus on bias-ply, if well taken care of, can last 25 years.
