  • Wow - Champ paint is beautiful...

Added some photos to one of the Champ registries and continue to be impressed by how beautiful this Champ truck's paint is.

Not that many people might go back through the listings and see it so I wanted to post it sepeartely here. Owner said he once owned a '54 that was Shoshone red and really liked that color - this is what his painter was able to do...

That looks like red with a touch of black. Saw a 50's GMC with the common green paint. But, He had a touch of black mixed in. It made that green really pop. Looked just as good as that red.

                      Beautiful restoration!!

And an excellent position to photograph it, as well. One would never know the box is wider than the cab in that view.

                          A) Those who go through great lengths to cut a section out of the P2 box and tailgate to make it line up with the cab, or

                          B) Those who install a modern Ford Ranger or other smaller size pickup bed.

They're the ones who don't care about being able to haul a bigger payload in one trip, if they carry a load at all!

I've never been a big fan of red, but I always liked '54 Shoshone Red, and your truck looks great!
