Fuel System: 232 fuel pump/push rod

Over the last couple of thousand miles my 232 with 84,000 miles, the
fuel pump or push rod has started making a ticking noise and it is
getting louder. Question: does the push rod wear and have to be replaced
or is the fuel pump heading south?

Probably in the Fuel Pump, may be as simple as a weak actuator Lever return spring.

StudeRich, you nailed yet another one. I stretched the spring a little and it is now as
good as new(for awhile).
