    These are "fixed" slats, so they do not move in any turbulence. They are level horizontally, so they do not interfere with any rear vision. They DO reduce the sunlight entering the passenger compartment; reducing not only passenger discomfort but also upholstery fade. And I just think they have "KOOL" factor.

      I never heard them rattle in my Cruiser when any windows were down. They were very solid.

        It's one of those special items that will set your car apart from all the other four door cars. I think tat at a car show, or cruise night it will help garner attention from non-Studebaker folks that otherwise would have little interest.

              toss them if you want to get one more mile per 1000 gallons of gas....otherwise keep them in there. You never know what you might want to do in the back seat that you don't want someone seeing you do.
