Weather was nice enough this past weekend in central NC to finally introduce the 10G-W5 to my home state, having brought it in to NC from VA on January 31st of this year. Every third Saturday from March to October, Greensboro like many other cities holds a "Cars and Coffee" show for new and old cars alike. Lots of interest in the Studebaker for sure, and good stories from those whose families had one - or knew of one - growing up.
This 29,800 mi gem is really credited to SDC member Bob Ridle. I was able to sort out the 6V starting woes (see my other post) and turn it into a reliable weekend runner, but I'm hoping to keep it to less than 500 miles/yr. A really rare opportunity to see a well-stored and and well-resurrected car for most folks nowadays.
