    How has everyone been?

I thought this time around I would do something nice and simple. How is everyone's day? Was it an epic triumph, a crushing defeat, or just something in between (and perhaps a bit more mundane)? Go ahead lads!

I'm just starting my Wednesday down here, but yesterday was hot and humid, really humid! Spent a fair bit of time on the phone trying to organize a freight company to ship my son's '55 2door sedan from an army base 1,000 miles south of me. On Sunday it shorted the main power wire and burnt out most the dash wiring, so it's a non-runner, and unfortunately he is a novice with cars. So dad to the rescue. ;-)

I had to re-do my gearbox balk & that just flowed fine & the evening (way earlier on this side of the ocean) was real nice "famblywize" so I'm good for bed now...

Good day here. Sunny and warm enough to melt most of the snow.

Working on taxes...hate it...simply hate it. It's not really that difficult but I simply hate it. Did I mention I hate doing taxes?

Well, you know what "they" say - the only two certain things in life are death and taxes. On that cheery thought, let's get back to Studes!

Like many days, today I had high and low points from attending a ribbon cutting for a business to loosing a cap and post (tooth) while eating dinner at a church (Shrove Tuesday).

    Well Jake & others,
I got the vent door on the '48 of Gerry's (& Chuck Naugles' before that), got the instrument pod cleaned and painted ready for the new bulbs and then back into the Packard's dashboard. I have mentioned my frustration with my time line before but here is good example. I was looking for the elusive trunk floor latch and I came upon a BRAND NEW Aluminum dash panel which I had forgotten purchasing from Chris in Australia when I found my NOS twin antenna kit. I also painted our porch which the Arizona sun and heat had not been kind to. I wonder what surprises are in store for tomorrow?
