  • Temperature range for late August?

What is the typical temperature range in Tacoma in late August?
    Looking forward to the Meet.

My son lives out there. There are two seasons; hot dry and miserable and cold rainy and miserable. I believe they have once again selected hot and miserable.

The only time I was ever out there, it was the end of July and the highs were in the 70s and 80s. A lot different than Arkansas tn that month.

Late August, early Sept can be the best weather of the year here. Often warm sunny days, high 70s or low 80s and cools evenings. Daylight to 8:00 p.m. or later.

In Tucson, that temperature range could be considered our low range. I am looking forward to bringing a sweater or windbreaker for the evenings.

Quote James Bell: "July - August's weather is the hottest for Tacoma, Washington, yet few days get really hot. The pleasant temperatures are accompanied these months by some of the sunniest and driest conditions the city sees all year.
Most years Seattle average temperatures are in the mid 70’s (20’s Celsius), with possible lows in the high 50’s. Average rainfall for the entire month of August is only 0.82 in and July-August are the peak High Season for Tourism."

I’m betting the weather will be a lot nicer than in Florida that time of year. Looking forward to it.
