    The '56 President Classic with "Manual" Trans is interesting, just too Bad there are no Engine or Interior views.

    I believe it likely HAS Overdrive, but like many non-Studebaker sellers the owner either does not know it, or doesn't care enough to mention something that Important, it would of course be a T-85.

    I was not aware the 56 President, or any sedan had a T85. Thought it was only 56,57,58 GH and the Packard Hawk. It was in some taxis however, but a little later, I believe.

    Consider yourself "Updated!
    All '56 and '57 President Classics came Std. with 4 Barrel Dual Exhaust 289 and a T-85 if ordered with Manual Trans. they were short tail of course, with 2 piece Driveshaft.
