        This IS a VERY Original R2 Avanti.
        You just do not find them today being sold by the Original Owner!

        It actually IS a Transition Car R4687, an early '64 with Round Headlights.
        And it does have the Regal Interior, but on " '64's" I don't think you could get a Deluxe (Std.) Interior.

        Looks like a Nipondenso Alternator replacement.

          That car does not qualify as a "transition model" because by the serial number (4687), it was produced in June 1963. The 30 cars usually referred to as transition models were from serial number 4808 to 4837 and produced in July, 1963
