It would be most appreciated if someone could send me some pix of the rear of a C body with the rear bumper off. I am particularly interested in the attachment points for the rear valance and the thin curved strip below the trunk opening. Thanks.

I'am sure it is the same as my Gt and it is held on with sheet metal screws to the panel below the trunk. -
Everything in the lower, rear of the C & K Bodes changed when the Bumpers were changed (made taller) in 1955, so a '53-'54 will not even be close to the same, which do you have?StudeRich

Here is the rear of my 54 hope this helps. The top component is held with sheet metal screws. If you look real close you will see the screw holes, there are about four screws.

Other than the shape of the panels they are very close to the gt's and are held on to the same part of the body in the same way.Comment
