Quite fun to hear about "the hoglends" !
Hegglunds would be the closest way to say it. Funny enough, it's a Swedish coachbuilder company, made loads of bodies for busses, trains & such.
We had our Volvo Valp & the Studebaker weasel so maby these ones went elsewhere...?

My long-time employer (Naval Research Lab) had/has a couple of them that were used for a Marine Corps development program. Never rode in them, and really can't provide any info.
