      anyone know where I can get a switch? PN: 288968 47 to 64 all used the same switch.

        Sounds like the trouble is inside the switch. Losing half the voltage inside the switch is WAY too much. You might clean the cable ends also.

          I suggest calling SI during business hours. They have many things that are not in their catalog.

            Is it possible to disassemble the switch to clean the contacts ? Check the terminals and conductors on the line and load wires at the switch.
            Be aware that a NOS switch [NOS means OLD] can have corroded contacts just from sitting on a shelf for 66 years.
