  • 1955 conestoga wagon driver door or donor car - early flat window version

I was unfortunately TBoned in my restored Conestoga Wagon. Ejected from the crash and walked away. At a minimum I need a driver side door for the early flat window wagon or a good donor car. Thanks for helping appreciate information, resources. Sedan doors will not work. CONTACT KEITH WAHL EMAIL: KWAHL@SAN.RR.COM CELL 858 5182190

Good luck finding a good Door Keith, yesterday I got a call from my long time friend Bill Oliver at Studebaker Parts and Service, looking for a '54-early '55 2 Door Wagon L/H Door.
We have about 25 parts Cars but nothing close to what he needs for your Car.

I had to sadly tell him that I think you would have to weld the Top Half (Window Frame) from a Wagon to a 2 Door Sedan Door, as rare as those are.

How about pulling a fiberglass mold off someone else's good door?

Too bad craigslist ads disappear. This one may pop up again.

The Conestoga wagon doors and the 4-door sedan front doors and front clip should be the same for both the early and mid 55's.

4 doors use shorter doors,I don't even think a 2 door sedan door will work. unless the upper frame is changed with some body work and such. unless the sedan vs. wagon door thing came later on ?

The Conestoga's have the shorter door, i have one. Mine is mid year and the same color. I need a top. They are kinda like the Champ PU which has the same doors as a 4 door Lark.
