I think the bicentennial edition of touring wheels had a slick red white and blue GT on one of the covers. I think yours would be quite complementary, parked next to a Tri Tone 55 Speedster at a meet. The stock overlay on the trunk lid gives it even more pizzazz. I like your car!

It sure is an eye catcher. Since you have gone this far, I suggest leave the left side red, but paint the right side yellow.

Yep, that would certainly complete the "Clown Car" look!

I like seeing cars that look like they used to in the 60-70's when folx had their cars the way THEY wanted it, not like now when it's mostly about what others might think...

Ron don't despair, I hear that noxabaker dresses kindof funny.

The GT Hawks look so good in a solid color that I wouldn't do that, but it is your car and as long as you are happy, drive on!

It's ok, & I might dress kinda funny (I wish I did... ) & looking at the car again I like it even more, I guess it's mostly from behind as the silver on the roof matches the silver on the trunklid, & the side/middle differences are just right, aint that what the trims on top of the fenders are for anyway...?
(I'm also quite sure others like it even if they don't write it here...)

Around here, we often see cars with multiple colors....a fender here, hood there and perhaps, three outta four doors that don't match.

At least, the colors on this Hawk have a pattern. Of course, anyone viewing it for the first time, might not realize the pattern, until seeing it from multiple angles.

Another thing (around here) you might hear is "It is SOoo California." But don't give that opinion a lot of negative credence, 'cause, not too long ago, (around here) a supposed swamp creature known as "Lizard Man" was being reported.

Absolutely ALL that matters is that YOU like it. However, for me it looks like many of the cars I see around where I live that were assembled from mismatched wrecks and never repainted.

Why not, it worked for Speedsters.

p.s. This is not the place to come if you only want positive comments.
