        The story of the Light Six coupe originally built by the Shanghai Horse Bazaar in 1923 has been well documented. See Dec. 2006 issue of Hemmings Classic Car for story. Below a photo of Herb Read and his 1931 President model 90 Brougham. Car is mostly original. I saw it first at the 1969 SDC Intl meet. It was driven there from New England by the then owner. Herb bought it in the 1990s.

            Herb still has the 42 President. I had it here several years ago and got it road worthy.

              That is the car. Note the bars on top of the door and behind. Those flip up. Then roll up windows make it a closed car.
