    Howdy guys,

I recently got a 61 Lark with the OHV 6. The hood doesn't have anything to keep itself up so I've been using a prop rod but I have the weird rod support piece and I'm not sure how it goes on. Can someone show me or show a picture of how it looks?
Mine only has 1 lever piece that moves and I'm sure it goes on the left side.

    Thanks everybody!

My '61 lark had a hood spring. No prop rod.

As a 1961 model, your hood should be hold by a torsion bar.

That's what they call it? Haha. Do you know how the torsion bar sits?

A Torsion Bar is a spring loaded Lever. Fig. 5A shows it is mounted only on the Right Side to a Lever and then to the Cowl and to the Hood, on 1961 Models.
