There's a clone of a 1955 President Speedster available in Eugene Oregon:

    Pretty car!

It says it has the correct engine-turned dash, and shows the glove box. (?!?)

Wasn't the Speedster the model that didn't have a glove box?

Just curious. I like it regardless. After all, it's not a real Speedster and he says that in the advertising, so who cares about the glove box?

I like that color combo. Definitely will attract some attention with that little neon buggy rolling down the road.

Doesn't $27,500.00 sound like a LOT for a Clone with a Chev. Engine?

I don't think a Speedster is a Speedster without the "Special" Speedster Dash.

If he could document that Lemon Lime Paint as "Factory" it may have been worth quite a bit as an Original President Hardtop, probably the one and ONLY!

It has a later '56-'61 Hawk dash which has a glovebox.

I would have rather seen it painted metallic gold, not the same yellow as the exterior of the car.
