For now I just want to get her road worthy and safe to drive. I own a powder coating shop here so I plan to put that on the doors. After that who knows! I'm kinda a resto mod guy,so we will see what happens. I think the truck will tell me what it wants.

Cleans up nice. I notice your front parking lights are located inboard mine (1953). I also see 60's wheel covers. Obviously 15 inch wheels. Mine are 16 inch and I wondered if 60's dog dish caps will fit on my wheels ? I'm missing clips.... Nice truck.

I had a '53 2R5 about 18 years ago, I used it for a daily driver until I bought a newer Ford PU. Kinda funny; I put the same front turn signals on it as you have. I believe I bought them at Bi-Mart, and they were sold as "back up" lights.
