Hi,
This is my first post!
First of all, I live in the south west of the UK and have owned a 1928 (1929 model) Studebaker Dictator Royal for several years. Believe it or not this lovely car has never been touched bodily or mechanically since 1928! It is in an amazing original condition and I drive it to many classic car shows, carefully!
I collect Studebaker memorabilia and have recently acquired a beautiful heavy chromed car badge which portrays a well sculptured leaping panther between the names Studebaker and Panther. It has threaded holes on the reverse which means it must have been attached to something. But what?
The badge was found in a drawer in a garden shed here in the U.K. and according to the elderly lady owner she tells me that it has been there for many years! The badge is approx. 6"x 4" and after cleaning and polishing it is in mint condition! Apart from Packard Panther, any ideas?
