Are you looking for a Lube sticker?

    Twin Traction Warning Decal?

    Tire Pressure sticker?

Or maybe a replacement Decal for worn Black painted on printing on your Serial Number Plate?

A lube sticker is just that and not a decal. 1954 is about three years early for Twin Traction in cars. Even earlier for tire pressure sticker. I figured that what was wanted was a repair on a Serial Number plate. I agree that the OP was not clear in that it is not a decal for the "door post". The only other possibility that comes to my mind is a decal "Made in ----". This is a new/inexperienced poster so we should be "gentle" on him.

OK cool. Gary, you have never seen or heard of a pre-1957 Stude. with later options like a TT or wanting a tire Pressure sticker just "because"?

I am pretty sure in most States it is illegal to reproduce the complete plate with the Serial Number, but they do do it in Australia and who would ever know if you do it correctly.

Here is some info on Decals for just the top of the Stainless Steel Serial Number Plate:

Putting the decal back on the serial number plate is not illegal.
