Some late season winter weather in these parts came in last night.
Had to chisel off a thick ice layer from the car windows this morning under the snow and it was a bit wiggly on my commute:
There must have been 2 inches at least on the ground this morning with some more coming today and evening.
Just took off my snow tires 2 weeks ago and it has been 70F one day a few weeks back and was in the mid 60s this past Saturday. About 28F this morning with the new snow.
Its definitely not too normal for this amount of snow this late. Usually, I can expect the last of the season's snow has melted by Tax day (April 15) and no fresh stuff. I think this year the last of the old snow was gone at least 4 weeks ago or more.
