Exit 72 on 80/90 is Closed

Please note, although all the streets in downtown South Bend are now two way, exit 72, that's the South Bend West exit on the Indiana Toll Road/80/90 is closed. This is the exit that goes to the US 20 Bypass. You will need to either go to the Notre Dame exit (72), or the Mishawaka exit to get into South Bend. If you are coming in from the south on US31, there are no construction problems.

Just a quick note, if you are coming early, that exit may be open. The sign I read last night was changed from earlier to say, "On or about". Construction dates are always fluid. That could mean that exit may be open. Watch for signs. Either way, the Notre Dame exit is open.
