Very nice truck. Love the patina and the honest work truck look. It's also one clean truck...just a few fixes and she's there. No need for a major resto on this one. Super rare find!!

I thought that there were 22 1959 Deluxe V8 3/4 ton 4X4s built, of which 17 had a pickup box.

Buddy of mine remembers the last one - think it was being used in a wrecking yard last time he saw it in that same area (that might have been more than two decades ago).

Would love to see what the one that went to Arabia looked like - twelve inch wheels - that is pretty small.

I bet it had those big 'balloon' desert tires on it, and the wheel openings were enlarged some. Note the rim size on the vehicles in this thread: http://forum.studebakerdriversclub.c...ghlight=desert
