He described to me a 1957 GoldenHawk that is in with a few other unusual cars and a lot of everyday junkyard vehicles that is selling this Friday. It looks like a fixer upper, with some extra parts in the trunk. There are a couple extra grills etc, If anyone is interested in the car I would be willing to help find more info. It is kind of a cool looking old car and I thought it should ...

I've just purchased a 36 4 door Dictator and am finding little information about these on line. I certainly would appreciate any direction I can get to locate information about my new car. It's a driver for sure and in good shape. I've a copy of the shop manual but would like to fine more publications- internet format is fine - so I can better understand what I've purchased! Thanks

  3. repair shops

I just removed my power steering control valve and steering box from my 63 Studebaker Avanti, and would like to find some places that you all have used in the past to send them, or anything, off to be rebuilt. Preferably to the same place. I live in California, if that helps. Thank you.

I'll start with the easy stuff... For the engine, I'd go with the 289 supercharged engine from the '58 Golden Hawk. For the transmission, I'd go with the Borg Warner T-10. What? Studebaker didn't have these in '59? Borg Warner did. This was an available trans in the Corvette from 1957 until GM developed their own.

OK, so tell me what you'd add to this car
