  • Anyone have a spare $95K I can borrow?

Money may not buy happiness, but it's more comfortable to cry in a Mercedes than on a bicycle.

Funny how a lot of folks cal them Presidential. I know a guy near me that has a 38 President sedan and he swears that his is a Presidential Commander.

I'm telling everyone, "Studebakers are Hot right now." All the latest car shows I have been too, seem to be trending towards the orphans. Kingig sold a customized VW bus for over $300K, people like these Studebakers, Hudsons, Ramblers--- keep driving them!

If that's a President(ial) coupe, then I'm a Studebaker Presidential Coupe. You have to give the guy credit for asking 95K with a straight face. He's got nerve.

Ever heard the term, "Economy of Scale?"

Nine dollars, I can spare...95,000 no way no how!

However, for me, I would be honored to have 95,000 spare dollars. That would hint that I was successful beyond my dreams. One thing for sure, I wouldn't be spending it to buy a piece of unknown work from someone who couldn't correctly name what he was attempting to entice me to buy? Besides, there are too many opportunities to be surprised by a speed-bump that would total the undercarriage in a heartbeat.

I don't think he's out of line asking $95K, you probably couldn't build it for that unless you did all the work yourself. So for Joe "rich Silicon Valley" guy, $95K to them, is like you and I buying a Toyota Prius, except he don't have to finance it!

$95,000, but no hood. Every CASO will want a discount for the missing hood! John

WHERE do they get this stuff?

I guess Presidential doesn't bother me as much as Studabaker or Camero.
