I just acquired a 1964 Champ painted Golden Sand Metallic. It needs repainted and have found out from repainting an Avanti that was painted Avanti Grey Iridescent, that the amount of metallic can change the appearance especially in the sunlight. This is so significant that a friend came by in the late afternoon and commented how the car just jumps out in the sun with a blue grey sparkle. When he came back out at dusk, he stopped suddenly and was amazed that in the shade it was now more of a battleship grey. What suggestions can you make about the metallic content? Gary

The original metallics were very fine, or small particles. newer formulas often include a medium metallic. I have them leave out the coarser metallic, and substitute the smaller in the formulas. This will get you closer to stock.Bez Auto Alchemy
