  • 1962 Champ pickup farm find in Nebraska

    Good afternoon,

Saw this on my local craigslist a few minutes ago

It was for sale on the Manhattan, Kansas craigslist a couple of weeks ago for $1000.

Yeah, it was his barn find. Now it's a flipper. Five GRAND for a champ in that poor of condition and with the small six at that? Gosh, maybe I should get off my kiester and get my own Champ listed. If this one is worth that much, mine should be worth more! My paint is somewhat better, has the 245 six, good brakes, and runs quite well, not to mention the OverDrive transmission. I would be delighted to get five or six grand for it! Bess could use the infusion of cash!

Yeah, he puts it in for $5000 expecting to get talked down to $2500. If he started with an asking price of $2500 everybody would be trying to talk him down to $1500.
I'd rather be driving my Studebaker!

That does appear to be a very little RUST Kansas Farm Truck though, so a "wetter" West Coast Truck usually would have more Rust.

The $5500.00 asking, is a little High for a 7E5 170 OHV 6 Cyl. though.
