Seems pretty unlikely anyone would have installed a T-10 4 Speed in one of these, but it IS possible. :ohmy:

Too bad the nicer Packards and Hawk are not shown. :(

Actually, I've done a couple of these; one a '56J and one a Packard sedan. The '63-mid-'65 Ford T10 has the same bolt pattern as the Packard. The Ford input shaft is shorter, so it requires a custom extended pilot bearing. I've got one more Ford tranny under the bench if anyone wants to go that way.

Thinking about it, some years back, I saw a '56J with a '65 Ford toploader 4-speed installed.

I think I see the '56 Golden in photo #4, (Sunglow Gold/Snowcap White) to the right of the '56 Clipper. Looks to be pretty rough. :(
