The 1950 chassis catalog for my 50 land cruiser list the rear shock bushings as 198685. Studebaker int and other sites list part number 195284.can anyone tell which is correct? Also, does anyone know of a locally available bushing (chevy or ford) that will fit? Thanks

Very simple, the 195284 is listed in the Chassis Parts Catalog (THE BIBLE) as ONLY for '47, '48 and '49 Champions 6G, 7G & 8G.
The '47-'50 14A, to 17A Commanders, need the 198685 for (4) per Car.
17A '50 Commanders have LEVER Shocks, not Tubular like a '50 Champion.StudeRich
