GT Hawk seats into a 53 C/K?

Any issues with installing GT Hawk seats into a 53 Champion hardtop?

How easy is it to find GT Hawk seats or would it be easier to find a donor car?

It shouldn't be too tough to put GT seats in a '53. Last time I was there, Bob Petersen in Hayward had some in his rafters I'm not sure if they were destined or not. You might try Studebakers West too.

No problem putting GT seats in the C/K cars but will also need the center floor plate, I have the plate but no seats at this time. I might be able come up with some this next week end when in AZ, let me know if really interested....Bob

Scott, a better choice might be seats from a 61 Hawk. They are much wider and more comfortable than the GT Hawk seats

I put '62 buckets in my '56 GH using the center floor plate. I also modified a rear arm rest and installed between the seats.
