When installing the vent windows in K body cars there is no way to access the screws which control the pressure on the pivots after installation. That means that one has to guess as to the amount of pressure prior to installing the complete vent window unit.
I remedied the problem by using a 3/4" step bit and drilled through the two pieces of metal leaving a hole for access. 1 3/4" from the center of bolt hole. Now adjustment can be done by removing the door panel.
The car is not laying on its side - the picture will not display in the correct orientation.
