  • Looking for a right rear wheel house/ lock pillar

I'm searching for a door lock pillar/ wheelhouse for a 1965 Cruiser, part #1356502, right side, 4 door.
I really just need the lock pillar as that is the only rusted part of the car.
I contacted SI with hopes of them having one, since we saw a lot of 4door parts there when we were there a few years ago, but no luck.
I really don't want to cut a used on off of a parts car, but I'll do it if necessary. I would prefer new.
    Anyone have one stashed?
Thanks in advance for your time.

If the part is the same as a 64 Daytona 4 door, I have a good one on a parts car. Could cut off whatever you need or want without too much trouble. Shipping by bus would not cost much. Car is from Texas/Arizona, so pretty solid parts.

Hi Jamie, I was wondering who you talked to from SI?
Reason I ask is sometimes if you talk to someone in Greenfield you may not get a good search of the South Bend inventory.
Try contacting someone in South Bend.

They wouldn't give me a good number for South Bend. I talked to a guy in Greenfield and he got back to me a couple of days later, saying they didn't have it.
During the the couple of tours I went to he the rough at SouthBend, I saw racks of 4 door rear fenders. It hard to imagine that they got rid of the rear wheelhouses for 4 door cars. I know that they aren't that popular, but there are still a bunch of them on the road.

Try a pm to stratovue here on the forum.
It's Mr. Reynolds he owns SI. May take awhile for a response as he's a busy man.
