Ray Martin's restored 29 Prez on BJ

Got an email from Barrett- Jackson this morning advertising their Scottdale auction coming up in January and right on the front page is a picture of the 29 President that Ray Martin restored back in the 90's . This car is now in some huge car collection but will be on the auction block at this years BJ in Scotsdale . I know from being a good friend with Ray that this is one car he always regretted selling.
I gave Ray a call this morning to let him know about it and he sure is looking forward to seeing it go across the block .

There is a great looking 1957 Golden Hawk listed in the collection as well. It will be interesting to see what these cars fetch at auction.

Here are a couple of images. Taken at AACA meet in Sept 2011. Then owners Jim and Nancy Heinsohn of Huntley, Illinois. I know that a lot of additional work was done on the car after being sold by Ray Martin. It should easily top $100,000 at the auction.

We received a Christmas card from Vera Martin yesterday in which she told us Ray is slowly regaining some strength.

Talked to Ray yesterday and he seems in good spirits, was up to visit him in early November and he was pretty much house bound except for doctor visits. I see on face book he got out for a pre Christmas dinner last week .
