Did you move the gas tank from the left frame mount to a central position between the rails to facilitate the dual exhausts?sigpic 1963 Studebaker Avanti: LS1 motor and T-56 transmission have been moved rearward, set up as a two seat coupe with independent rear suspension. Complex solutions for nonexistant problems.

Something just looks "unnatural" 'bout a Studebaker without an oily underside. If I can ever get the 289 installed in my 1955 E 5 truck, I wish I could make a dual exhaust set up as neat. To me, this one is as good as it gets.John Clary

That's Alex Magdaleno's '54.
A recreation of one he owned decades earlier, but sold and regretted selling.
He built up a nice 289 and custom made his own dual Weber intake setup.
(I built his valley cover and sold him a pair of intake flange plates)
