I'd say that one is worth restoration...

If it weren't for all my other projects getting in the way I'd love to do that one justice as a great original driver. I hope it finds a good home.

Here is a 29 Studebaker with an 8 cyl in it ..
Did they ever build these at the factory or is this a truck pieced together ?
Both this one and the 31 are very cool looking trucks .

Too bad half the plugs were removed. That would be a nice rare truck restored. I've never seen a Studebaker pickup from the 20's that I recall, and can't imagine the 8 would have been factory installed.

I went up and looked at that truck. It is not a truck, it was a sedan and most of the box parts are not Studebaker.

It has to be pieced together (the pickup).
Except for a prototype pickup (RQ has pic's of it), the first pickup was the 1937 J5.

Was it a crude build ?? When do you think it was built? Back then or recent ?
I should go have a look but its way over my head in work and price . But I really like it .

                      Thanks.
I thought that it sounded strange, and that's why I'd never seen a 20's pickup.
Isn't it funny that the first pickup beat the El Camino by so many years, and many of the Chevy guys don't know about that wonderful Studebaker.

I have a 28 Stude pickup. I'm told it was comman for Stude Dealers to convert sedans into pickups, especially in farm country

Here's another one in south King County. This one's been available for a while.
