    from my e-mail

There is a 1964 Zip Van located in a small salvage yard in Floyd, VA (near Roanoke). I am told it is intact with all parts. It is headed for the crusher in two weeks. Owner wants $400?!!
Unit would need to be towed on a flatbed.

Contact my friend (ex-local AACA president). He has more info.
    His cell phone is (540)819-5850.

    Regards. Leland Smith, Jr.

    JDP,

You beat me to this. It is located in a yard that has approximately 700 cars that have been pulled in by the owner of a towing service in Salem, VA (whose name really is Charlie Brown). He is selling any car in the lot for $400, no receipts or bill of sales (parts only) but he will at some point look for titles. The crusher starts on Monday morning cleaning up the place.

Charlie had no information on any of the vehicles, but the yard will be open Saturday from 10:00 to dark to let folks get parts and cars. It is tucked up in the mountains in Floyd, County, VA and the road turns to gravel just before you get there.

It is probably a 4 hour trip for me and I probably will not do it, but do have the name and a # for a guy who may know something of what is there. I will post again if I get further details.
