I was wandering around the internet (yes, I know that can be dangerous) and came across an article in the November 30, 1912 issue of Automobile Topics titled "Turks Lose Studebaker Trucks." Charles Heske was named as the representative sent to Turkey (then the Ottoman Empire) to observe the testing of Studebaker trucks to be used by thier armed forces. The sale involved 2000 Studebaker trucks!
